Accessibility statement
Last updated: 16 March 2026
Our commitment
Shopping Online Direct is committed to making our website usable and accessible in line with the principles of WCAG 2.2 Level AA and the obligations set out in the UK Equality Act 2010 and applicable European accessibility legislation.
Measures we are taking
We are working towards:
- Providing consistent keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators.
- Using clear headings, labels, and ARIA landmarks to aid orientation.
- Ensuring sufficient colour contrast and readable typography.
- Providing text alternatives for meaningful images where applicable.
Known limitations
This is an early version of the platform and some areas may not yet fully meet our target accessibility level. We are actively working on:
- Further improving contrast and focus styling in all components.
- Reviewing pages for screen reader semantics and labelling.
- Expanding keyboard-only testing across all customer and vendor flows.
